1. Enjoy
Fill your senses with arts and culture
The Hearth Arts on Bowen brings many cultural events to Bowen Island, sure to entice all walks of life. From Live performances, book readings, special cultural events, art workshops, gallery shows and programming, simply being part of it will enriches your life and bring you closer to the community.
2. Donate
100% of all donations go into the operation and promotion of our programs, such as:
community access
exhibitions
artist support
workshops
children’s programming
live performances at the Bowen theatre
If you would like to support the ARTS on Bowen Island, the Hearth is most grateful for the donation. Tax receipts are issued for all donations.
3. Endowment
The Community Hall & Arts Centre Endowment Fund was established by the Bowen Island Arts Council in 2007 to support all aspects of the community’s cultural space needs, including design funding, governance, sustainability, multi-use programming and operations.
The Bowen Island Community Foundation (BICF), through the Vancouver Foundation manages this Endowment Fund. The BICF is a registered charity that collects donations from individuals, families and businesses to support other non-profit organizations that serve Bowen Island.
Donations made to the Community Foundation are permanent, income-earning endowments managed and invested by the Foundation’s own investment team.
