You are welcome to join Bowen Island artist and author Ingrid Hauss in this creative event hosted by the Bowen Island Library on Saturday afternoon, July 8th. Celebrate the launch of Ingrid’s book about art, movement and the awareness of creativity in everyday life.
Winner Announced! Original artwork “Wait for Me” by Mumtaz Bandali draw took place on June 26 and the winner is Sara Tanaka! Thanks to everyone who entered the draw!

Check out the comfy retractable seats on display outside the Hearth Gallery! Did you know you can sponsor a seat! Just one of the ways you can support The Community Centre project!
The Performing Arts Auditorium will have 160 retractable seats. These seats will host our community for years to come at theatrical performances, all kinds of concerts, movies, cultural events, conference lectures, graduations, town halls, and the list goes on.
As part of the capital fundraising campaign, you now have an opportunity to sponsor a seat for $2500. This includes an engraved nameplate with your name or dedication to someone else.

One of Canada's foremost ceramic artists, Susannah Montague, presents her new solo exhibition, "Falling Awake," which serves as both her Pandemic Diary and a snapshot of the current moment. This collection of artwork documents her interior life during the Covid-era and will serve as a historical record of what it means to be alive in this unique period.
