I am an emerging artist and writer based on Bowen Island/Nexwlélexwm. My work is layered, nuanced, and visceral, created within the liminal spaces between the otherworldly and the physical, where grief and memory can be felt on a subtle plane and held in both body and mind.

Through mixed-media assemblages and hand-built or sewn forms, I weave together fragments of the natural and symbolic world to create pieces that carry both mystery and revelation. By layering objects that hold resonance — antiques, various woods, metals, glass, and organic eements — I construct vessels that explore the harsh and delicate thresholds between pain and healing, the seen and unseen.

My practice is an alchemical process rooted in my history and interpreted through an archetypal lens. I work with myth, ritual, and symbolism to process experiences of loss and survival, reimagining them as stories of metamorphosis. My intent is not only to integrate and free the spirit within myself but also to open spaces where others may glimpse their own narratives and possibilities for transformation. This exhibition represents a continuation of my evolving practice.
