(Ace-in-abbey) is an Oji-Cree, four-time JUNO award-winning alternative indie artist from the Sucker Clan of Sandy Lake First Nation, a remote fly-in community in Northwestern Ontario. He is widely known for his powerful shows of stories and songs, including his radio hits “Nomads”, “Somebody Else”, “Gone Baby Gone” and “Home”. With a swirling mix of rock, soul, and electronic sounds, Aysanabee's music has drawn comparisons to Bon Iver, Hozier, Kings of Leon and more.
