ARTS ON BOWEN ISLAND
The Hearth Arts on Bowen operates as a non-profit arts organization on Bowen Island, supporting a variety of art forms including visual, performing, literary, theatre and more. We manage two venues - a visual art gallery near the Ferry terminal - The Hearth Gallery- as well as our partnership with the local municipality to program and produce performances in the new Bowen Theatre.
The Hearth Arts On Bowen respectfully and gratefully acknowledges that we are located on Nexwlélexwm (Bowen Island), the traditional and unceded territory of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation and the Tsleil-Waututh (sail-wha-tooth) Nations.
THE HEARTH GALLERY
The Hearth Gallery is located in Snug Cove, Bowen Island, just a short walk from the ferry terminal. With a focus on visual arts, artists of all types have shown their work at the Hearth Gallery, from painters, to sculptors, to potters, and many more.
THE BOWEN THEATRE
The new Bowen Theatre is located within the Bowen Island Community Center, about a 10 min walk from the ferry terminal along the main road. With a focus on the performing arts, discover music, dance, drama and more.
Artists featured with the Hearth Arts on Bowen are Canadian.

Concession Leads - On Call
Join us at the Bowen Theatre as a Concession Lead for productions and events!
Candidates will bring;
Event, frontline service and staff management experience preferred
Serving it Right and SEP management
Point of sale equipment experience (Square Space)
A vehicle for island supply pick ups
The ability to lift 50lbs
$25/hr, minimum 4 hour shift
